Are you prone to giving yourself a hard time and beating yourself up? Are you feeling like you’re not doing enough, moving quickly enough, or telling yourself that you should be further along in your business than you are right now?
Then I have some relief for you today!
First of all, you’re not alone. That’s for sure!
In fact, I just coached one of my clients who was beating herself up about her results. Here’s the kicker… she hasn’t seen a decrease in her business, she’s seen a big increase since we started out sessions!
So, why isn’t she jumping for joy?
Well, she has really high expectations. She’s glad she is seeing growth but wants to see much more.
Do you have high expectations too? Do you find yourself feeling disappointed, even when you have a win, or two, or three?
Today I’m going to share with you 4 things that you can do right now to stop feeling impatient.
Feeling grateful is all about how you look at things. Keeping yourself in a state of positivity allows you to feel grateful, which leads to more confidence.
Gratefulness + Confidence = Taking Bigger Leaps
We all compare ourselves to other people. But comparison is a block. It doesn’t allow good things in and leaves you feeling depressed, no matter how good things are.
Instead, I invite you to take charge of your mindset and to make a daily practice of focusing on gratitude, in the form of these 4 things.
- Measure Backwards
When you measure your successes against what you want for your future, you’ll always feel like you’re coming up short. When you measure your successes to where you were a year ago, 3 years ago, 5 years ago and so on, you can clearly see how far you’ve come!
- It’s Your Duty To Stay Positive
As someone who is going after your goals, you have a duty to yourself (and those around you!) to stay positive. Positivity attracts positivity! When you’re negative you miss out. Big time! Stop missing out on all the positivity that wants to come your way. Stay ready for it. Stay positive!
- Be Open
The law of attraction says that what you focus on is what’s drawn to you. Focus on the good, always. If you want more that’s okay. It’s okay to strive for more, but do it in a positive way. Not with the attitude that it should already be yours.
- Being A Business Owner Is A Privilege
Having clients who trust you is a privilege. You get to serve people. You get to express yourself. You are privileged to be in the position you’re in! Think of your past work experiences that you hated. Think about the comfort you have now that you didn’t have then. You are privileged!
And remember, your worth is not measured by external validation and it is never in question. You are enough, as is.
